Learner-centered teaching is an approach to teaching that is increasingly being encouraged in education.

 Learner-centered teachers do not employ a single teaching method. This approach emphasizes a variety of different types of methods that shifts the role of the instructors from givers of information to facilitating student learning.

Traditionally instructors focused on what they did, and not on what the students are learning, the idea of learner centered approach goes in a totally different perspective “instructor-centered teaching.” occurs when instructors focus on student learning.

Motivation and affect are some the aspects we should involve n this approach, the benefits of learner-centered education include increased motivation for learning and greater satisfaction with school.

 Research shows that personal involvement, intrinsic motivation, personal commitment, confidence in one’s abilities to succeed, if we consider that we must understand which is our job as teachers, we should be students facilitators but they are responsible for their learning based on their motivation.

Peronally this type of approach may be very useful for us, as futur tecaher. we must hel or students to find the way to cretae their own leraning.

LEARNER CENTERED TEACHING "TEACHERS ROL"

A teacher's role involves more than simply standing in front of a classroom and lecturing. In fact, even though a teacher spends the majority of the day in the classroom, the actual teaching component is only part of the job. An effective teacher understands that teaching involves  long periods of non sleeping time thinking on how our  students can receive a quality education.

Perhaps the most important role that we as future  teachers could never forget is  interacting with students. We must be leaders in the classroom and in the school, earning the respect of students and setting a positive example.

 They must be disciplinarians, doling out fair and consistent punishments to students who break the rules. At the same time, we must show care and concern for students. A teacher has the power to build up or tear down a student's self-esteem and make a student's day or ruin it in an instant, we have the power to make our students succeed in life or just being indifferent to it.

When interacting with students, a teacher must fill the role of a counselor, a surrogate parent, a nutritionist and someone who has the best interests of every child at heart. We have chose the best profession, I feel proud of the road I had chose, and that is my motivation to be the best teacher.

SPEAKING

Speaking is another productive skill; here a person should be able to use speech in order to communicate meaning to others.

Pronouncing words, use appropriate register, follow stress patterns, and so on, are some of the activities we may do. to produce an effective speech.

The main purpose on speaking is to communicate meaning, and there are some facts that we may consider. There are different types of speaking or text types such us discussions, presentations,or telling stories, this may determinate if we are in front a monologue or if turn-taking its present.

Hopefully we are able to use some interactive strategies to help us to communicate our meaning successfully; these may be gestures, eye contact. Movement and facial expressions are the ones that provide the plus to your speaking act.

This may be a difficult skill to teach to our students. Their personal background and abilities may contribute to their performance. However. we should provide the tools in the class to make them succeed. Personally the way we present the spoken language may be crucial for our students, they would see us as a mirror where they can be reflected.
